About this role…
The purpose of the role is to provide support to internal and external clients and partners, with the objective of enhancing the client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Partners with duties including but not limited to calendar management, travel bookings, producing correspondence, documentation and reports when required, assisting with adhoc events and maintaining accurate data records and file notes for client work.
- Provide support to designated team in essential duties to ensure effective client management
- Assist with debtor management
- Preparation of Engagement letters, ethical letters and other adhoc letters as required and requested
- Attending to Tax Lodgement and collations for the firm as required
- Knowledge of and ability to do basic corporate secretary duties such as using NowInfinity to look up company information and prepare forms to change details etc
- Use of the Audit Shield portal to obtain receipts/invoices and to offboard or add clients as needed
- Knowledge of the ATO Portal to look up client information, change addresses, download copies of BAS and running balance accounts as required
- Attending to APS client information maintenance including adding clients, offboarding clients and changes of addresses and other particulars as needed
- Filing where and as required
- Involvement in special projects where appropriate and relevant
Other Responsibilities
Tax Administration
- Manage and run tax lodgement reports and drive tax lodgements targets.
- Drive the Management of the Client Portal.
- Collating of all returns/Fusedocs software champion.
- Attending to lodgements and tax registrations for clients.
- Setting up new starters on MyGov,and removing access for leavers.
- Assisting clients with setting up MyGov.
- Ensuring maintenance of information in APS database.
- Speaking to ATO when required to follow-up on client matters.
- Tax assessments and other ATO correspondence.
- Liaising with Reception re ATO mail.
- Running of various APS reports and attending to APS queries;
- Managing tax lodgement program (running regular due date reports and notify Managers and
- Partners)
Qualifications
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably for an Australian Company
- IT savvy
- Fluent English
- Excellent written and verbal communication
